Self

the room

The Room is where we encounter ourselves. The individual is at the heart of this work. Individual change, nervous-system regulation, the liminal space within where life can actually shift. This isn't theorised, it's embodied: practised through Eastern philosophy, indigenous ways of being across Asia and Africa, yoga, Kundalini breathwork, meditation, the work of quietening.

Presence
seven

postures

Presence. Regulation. Rhythm.
The seven postures of practice
  1. Conversation — leadership coachingWhere leadership actually starts.
  2. Collaboration — workshopsBuilt together, in the room.
  3. Connection — bodyworkWhat the mind sets aside, the body still holds.
  4. Communication — breathworkThe oldest form of speech we have. Breathwork Mondays, a standing practice.
  5. Co-regulation — in breath and bodyTwo nervous systems, settling together.
  6. Containment — meditation groupsA held space, without needing to be filled.
  7. Community — the Exquisite Pause retreatsSignature immersive retreats — what shifts here travels home with you.

Practice lineage: Eastern philosophy, indigenous ways of being across Asia and Africa, yoga, Kundalini breathwork, and meditation — lived and embodied, not argued.

The Exquisite Pause

leadership retreat

Set in Kerala, where the practice itself began — breathwork, meditation, and yoga, alongside the same enquiry that happens at the table, taken fully into the body. Leaders step out of the system for a few days, into the liminal space where change actually settles. Details held back until the next dates are confirmed.

About
meet

kavita

Psychologist, organisational psychotherapist, and executive coach — twenty-five years across the BBC, the LSE, and DFID. Third culture kid, nine countries called home. Mum to two. Partner to one very tall, secretly-wants-to-be-a-motorbiker architect. Recovering data addict. Lifelong yogi, from Kerala, where the practice began.

Some of the best encounters I have had have been listening to Indian jazz, with a glass of whiskey and a campfire by the sea. All else is practice.
